In short
MomentsBucket collects only the data needed to create private galleries, upload files, and protect access. We do not sell photos, videos, or personal data, and we do not use event content to train models.
Data we store
We store event settings, the host email address, technical file metadata, limited security logs, and uploaded content. Guests may optionally add a name and message to their uploaded group. Secret management links, recovery tokens, and PINs are stored only in protected form.
Anonymous likes and cookies
To let someone like or unlike a memory without an account, we store a random identifier in a secure browser cookie for up to one year. The database receives only a protected value that differs for each event; it is not shown to other guests and does not contain the person’s name.
Technical providers
We use hosting and secure storage providers for private galleries, payment processing services, and email services for confirmations and access recovery. Providers receive only the information needed to deliver those services.
Payment and billing data
Our payment processor collects card details; they are neither sent to nor stored by MomentsBucket. For paid orders we retain the name, email, billing address, country, amount, and transaction references needed for reconciliation and separate invoicing. We do not request or store a Romanian personal numeric code (CNP).
Access and retention
Guests access an event through a private link and, when enabled, a PIN. Originals are available to the host. Content is retained for 12 months from the event date, followed by a 30-day grace period.
Your control
The host can hide or delete media and can delete the entire event. For data questions or requests, email support@momentsbucket.com.
Optional AI transformations
When you choose an AI transformation and confirm processing, we send a prepared copy of the photo to external providers of AI image processing with the style instructions. Originals are not automatically sent for AI processing. We use the same anonymous cookie to recover your work in progress. Drafts are private and scheduled for deletion after 24 hours; sharing to the gallery requires your choice. The original of a published AI image is retained for comparison and export according to the event retention period.
